This brings up an excellent point. It is cliche for many conservative Christians to comment various versions of the "I don't have any problems with atheists, leftists, etc. except when they try to take away my right to be Christian". So I thought it would be instructive to hear specific laws which are designed to restrict Christianity.
To keep this thread from going OT or into a discussion of morality, I want to exclude laws that allow things that Christians are opposed too. For example, a law which legalizes same-sex marriage would be off topic UNLESS that law forced same-sex marriage to those opposed to it. I also want to avoid vague anecdotal claims like the
War on Christmas. Nearly every state and federal law in this country can be referenced online, so it would be instructive to provide links so that we can all research the specific statutes.
I would suggest Social Issues as a forum?
