In 1989 the US Invaded a foreign Nation and captured its leader, brought him back to the US where he was tried, convicted, sentenced and jailed.

If some other foreign Nation should at sometime in the future, capture a sitting or past US President, take him back to the capturing Nation, try, convict, sentence and incarcerate that person, should we do anything?

Can we legally do anything?
