Re: thiestic evolution
I am currently reading alot about Thiestic Evolution not athiestic evolution.
I invite you to check out and possibly post at the following topics:
Theistic Evolution
Theistic Evolution vs. Intelligent Design
Despite having started the first of the above, it offhand looks that the second might be the better topic.

Re: thiestic evolution
You should look into RNA world hypothesis because it has more support than abiogenesis.
A distinction without a difference, surely? A specific hypothesis as to how life began is still a hypothesis as to how life began.

I am excited because you're aware that a hypothesis is a hypothesis. LOL. Can you provide information that will help the community? Or are you going to try and play Doctor? LOL.

excitment
I am excited because you're aware that a hypothesis is a hypothesis.
You're aware that the RNA world is one of several hypothesis in the field of abiogenesis and is not separate from it?
Are you excited because science is tentative and not afraid to say "I don't know" in situations like the field of abiogenesis where there is so little evidence in our current understanding of how things came to be? That in some way this may invalidate what we do know?
Or are you excited about the possibility of learning more?
Or are you excited because you find that scientists are aware that a hypothesis is a hypothesis, and that a scientific theory is a scientific theory? Are you excited by a mundane well known (to scientists) truth?
Enjoy.
ps - welcome to the fray.

You might want to tone down the snark a notch.
Some of us here work on things like abiogenesis (the RNA World in particular) and find your ill-informed, snotty comments ... "a bit above your pay grade".
(If you haven't already guessed, yes. I work on abiogenesis. Ribozymes, to be exact. My PI and lab mates work on RNA World.)

Uh, no, there are not "many hypothetical ideas on the possibility of Abiogensis."
All of the evidence says Abiogenesis happened, on that the confidence level is so high that it can be stated as fact.
The was a time when there was no life, there is life now, so Abiogenesis happened.
There are many theories on "How Abiogenesis came about."

Re: excitment
Tomorrow?
Unless some very strong evidence is presented the confidence level will just increase.
So far ALL the evidence shows Abiogenesis is FACT. Every new discovery supports it.

Jar,
I think you're just having fun saying Abiogenesis is FACT. However, if you keep saying Abiogenesis is FACT you may start to believe it without any faith. LOL.

Re: excitment
Abiogenesis only means "The origin of life."
We know that there was a period of time when there was no life on earth. We know that there is life now. So life originated.
Now there are many Theories of Abiogenesis, but no question that abiogenesis happened.
I think you're just having fun saying Abiogenesis is FACT. However, if you keep saying Abiogenesis is FACT you may start to believe it without any faith.
Well, faith has nothing to do with it.
