Jon has been suspended from the board for 2 weeks. He initially requested this, and it now appears necessary.Add by Edit: It appears that he has managed to get back in chat. So since I am the one who suspended him, I will undo it. I'm still gonna help him focus on his homework by ignoring him during the days, though!

Jon has been suspended for 24 hours as a warning and reprimand for this outburst and also saying this to Schraf:

Jon is hopelessly addicted to this thread and needs some time away from it to do his homework! Lets hope he puts as much passion into that as he over zealously does here!

Perhaps it was just the attitude and the profanity. We need to keep in mind that even if this is a giant shared Blog, it is governed by Forum Guidelines

Although he adamantly insists that he be allowed to do so, I am giving Nuggin a one day suspension for again attacking the person rather than the issue.In this post, note the chosen subtitle and references to Jon.

Rob is receiving a one day suspension for disrupting the P.O.T.M. column, here go up thread a couple of posts to see Post #13 where it started.Further justification for this sentence comes from the good book itself:

I'll take the heat for this one. Simple is now unable to post any Proposed New Topics for one month. I shall then consider whether to allow him/her to do so at that time.Even though we all disagree on many topics here at EvC, we do know the basic dividing line between Science and Faith/Belief.Simple, apparently, does not.
