Re: God never intended Fast Food!
Maize - Wikipedia look at the origins section

this is the most likely ancestor of our modern corn (as compared to "primitive maize" which is still just a tad smaller than our modern corn). it's a wild grass. corn doesn't really exist in the wild.
most of the food that we eat has been changed through selective growing processes to be bigger, sweeter, more nutritious.
as for eggs, the chickens we have now are not what they were once upon a time. also, have you noticed the size differences in eggs in the store? i'm sure jumbo eggs are completely natural *shakes head*.

Re: God never intended Fast Food!
Especially if He commanded us to "subdue the earth."
depends which story you follow.
Gen 1:28-29 God blessed them; and God said to them, "Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it; and rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over every living thing that moves on the earth." Then God said, "Behold, I have given you every plant yielding seed that is on the surface of all the earth, and every tree which has fruit yielding seed; it shall be food for you;
Gen 2:16 The LORD God commanded the man, saying, "From any tree of the garden you may eat freely;
eat freely of the trees is a lot different than subduing the grains of the fields.

Re: God never intended Fast Food!
By no means is god's intentions logical or rational if it forces humanity into starvation, imo.
especially considering that his first order developed into his promise that his people being numbered as the sands on the shore.
it seems to me that it really depends. these people who argue that we should eat organic because it's what god intended have no foundation. it's really a silly idea. i think that's what jar is trying to illustrate. the bible suggests that god has done whatever it takes to reach his ends. as such, i don't think his intentions are to restrict us from any food, and when he does, it's to restrict us from something else.

the idea of eating a sea cucumber makes me want to forcibly dispell my intestines out of my mouth.
