God as Artist

I must ask, why does it seem 'art' the canvas forms like to utilize real conceptions for example, say a tree on a hill? Must art be actually drawn to be art? Can not art be the bare tree on the hill that isn't drawn, but the actual place?

Where is the need to extrapolate any further? I mean consider tessla's art via tessalations following the ideas of more crystalline structures. That kind of 'art' exhibited in natural world occurs due to particular kinds of crystals being thermodynamically favorable.Basically where is the need to extrapolate further when natural processes or emergent processes are occurring building something that can be construed as 'art' without having an artist around with the brush?
