The fallacy of Prophecy?

I want to discuss the astrological ages ie. Aries, Pisces and the coming age of aquarius in relation to the collective unconscious.Are prophecies, astrological ages and the collective unconscious evolutionary mechanisms?

I don't think they have any basis in reality except that they seem to have influenced our way of thinking since the beginning of civilization. The symbology of the astrological ages and the calendars based on them tells me that they had a some kind of impact on humanity. I understand that scientific knowledge was still a squint in humanity's eyes back then, but they were still a drive that made humans do many crazy things and continue to do so.So this is why I am asking if this is part of the evolutionary process.I guess I'll be more specific and mention the piscean age, the coming of the so called age of aquarius and the Christian apocalypse.

Wow well put Larni...I completely agree with that.So are the astrological ages man made or are they patterns that are outside our control and instead a result of the position of the sun?This is kind of a silly question lol.
