Need som e more explanation here.
Looking at the picture in you message, I think we need some more explanations here. How can we determine that what we see was folded after the fact and not laid down in a rippled manner?

Intrusive-extrusive?
If we apply these to the diagram we can easily see that the lower rocks are intrusive and the upper is extrusive.
Can you expand on that for those of us that are old and slow?
What do the terms mean and exactly what in the diagram should we be looking at to determine which is which?

Re: Law of superposition (revisited)
How this basic principle can apply to earth and rock(s) amazes me. Where does the material come from to form the layers? If the earth were billions of years old?
I have offered to walk you through a step by step chance for you to explain what is seen using some Flood model.
The offer still stands.
It could be set up not as a "Great Debate" but rather as a "Great Discussion".

Re: Law of superposition (revisited)
Your assuming the geologic column existed pre flood.
Sorry but that is not true. We can see that a Geologic column exists, so there is no need to make any assumptions about that.
What we do not do is assume that some flood for which there is no evidence exists.

Re: Law of superposition (revisited)
How can we know the earth was not distorted from a catastrophe?
We can look at the reality, the evidence, and see what that tells us.
I have offered in the past and offer once again, an opportunity for you to show how your Model can explain the evidence seen. However, simply asserting some catastrophe or flood or other imaginary scenario is meaningless unless you can show how it explains the actual geology.
Again, if you wish to actually support your model, I will be glad to try to get a Great Discussion set up where you can present the Flood Model.
