Do you mean its not happening right this instant. Like not rigghhhhhtnow. Or right NOW or just thenI think I might have seen.no I didn’t not just now. Perhaps in the future. Why would it all just stop?Is this an extension of the phenomena of pyramidal diversification of taxa? Are we really down to subspecies already? Define subspecies. I don’t think your prediction of no further speciation events passes Gott’s theory of longevity. But then again the future of humanity isn’t looking to rosy in such light either. LOL.

I think the problem is kind-of that we are in
a train with the windows blacked out.

Different people keep getting on and off so they must
have come from somewhere, but we only have vague feeling
that the train has moved ... and some won't accept even that.
​
The only way we can be sure is to record the journey from
outside the train ... but we are not allowed off.
