Re: So What's Wrong With Sustained Irony?

I disagree with Adminnemooseus concerning the closing of the thread Message 24. Not so much because the thread was closed but rather the reasons behind such actions.

I also suggest that Jar, in general, be much more selective in his starting of new topics. I've had thoughts that his new topics permissions should be suspended.
I believe such an attack upon the person, who however mischievously promotes, sustained irony is completely unwarranted.
Quoting my entire topic closing message:

Subtitle: Adminnemooseus impression - This is a mighty dubious topic

Going to close it down.
I also suggest that Jar, in general, be much more selective in his starting of new topics. I've had thoughts that his new topics permissions should be suspended.
If anyone wished to present a case why it should be reopened, to to the "Thread Reopen Requests" topic, link below.
Other discussion - Go to the "General discussion..." topic, link also below.

The reason I closed the topic was stated by the subtitle.
My comment about Jar's topic startings was a more general impression, and possibly wrong. That impression has preceded the current topic in question. It wasn't that I was saying Jar didn't also start topics of high merit.
Had Jar presented his case in the "Thread Reopen Requests" topic intead of starting a new version, I or another admin would have reopened the topic. It would have been nice had Jar presented that new version information in the original topic. I guess I don't tolerate "cryptic" well.

Added by edit: Upon further (re)review I observe that, regardless of where the original topic started, it sure seems to have "gone to hell" down thread - seemingly going far astray of Jar's topic intentions. Probably enough reason in itself, to close the topic.

Links please
Again, he ALWAYS brings up this fantasy of raping his infant son and it ALWAYS derails the thread and yet somehow, he is still allowed to post.
It is certainly helpful if you would supply link(s) to such things. I certainly don't feel like spending a lot of time searching for such.

Re: Are you that lazy?
No, I don't follow all topics. Many topics I follow fairly lightly at best.
I would presume that the large number of people going up against NJ at the topic in question would have no problem blasting his stupid arguments out of the water.
I presume the arguments you just presented in this topic were also presented in the topic in question. If not, why not?
Do the debate there, not here.
