The problem here is that you have concluded that evolutionist beleive they are 'more valuable' people.
There is quite a difference in 'knowing more about a particular subject' and being 'more valuable'.
I would confidently imagine that Nator knows a great deal more about ponies than I (even though I grew up with them and have many years of experience with crazy skittish beasts) because of her systematic education.
I'm equally confident that I know more about psychology than her (even though her hubby would have inevitably exposed her to psychological ideas and concepts) because of my systematic education.
Does either dictate 'greater value'? I think not.
I would go as far to ask you why you infer 'value' from differing levels of education? My education far outstrips that of my father but this does not lead me to conclude I have greater 'value'.
Surely we are all of equal value?
Hill Billy writes:
What might the future implications of this trend be?
Better to ask the implications of a world where people (such as you have in this thread) ascribe 'value' as opposed to education.

Hi, Hill Billy.

Hill Billy writes:
I would wonder if this confidence is well placed. We know she got the degree. We don't know if she learned anything. We do however, know that you have learned something.
Nator writes:
How do you know he has learned something?
Do you have enough knowledge of conformation, breeding, nutrition, training, riding, competing etc. to be able to compare his knowledge and mine?
Hill Billy, I think it is very easy in this case to for me to put your arguement that my experience with horses contained greater learning than Nators' systematic education (which I like to think of as concentrated experience) to bed.
I spent 10 years living onsite in a race horse stables. I mucked out, groomed and fed the evil racehorses, dodging stray hooves, chins that would bash down on me from on high and that terrible scrapping noise they make at night in their stalls.
My experience (coloured by my subjective experience of the evil brutes) taught me to keep the hell away from them!
My experience was my own and thus could in no way benefit from the thousands of person years of experience that can be taught directly to the student.
My dad tried to teach me about horses but he was not a teacher and so could not imparted his wisdom to me.
For that you need systematic education.
Nator obviously knows a great deal about the crazy creatures otherwise she would not have attained a degree. A degree is imparted wisdom. It is the knowledge and experience of many people experienced in the field in question. How do you think degrees are attained? By lottery?
I know less about horses than Nator if you missed my point.

Can I refer you to your thread about how every one else is wrong about E=MC^2?
If you were just right you would shut the fuck up about that particualr issue but you go on and on and on.
Your comments here highlight the position of a hypocrit.
Edited by Larni, : Removed qualifier about E=MC^2 thread.

Re: Refill please.
Yeah, but I bet you did it 'cause you were one of those funny girls who liked the beasts. I had to do it 'cause my dad trained them.
I still cringe when I see someone walk behind a horse or approach it from the front! It brings back memories of being kicked (a shod kick really hurts) or having those massive square teeth coming at me.
Race horses are mental!

It becomes clear....i
I get it now: you have a grudge on behalf of all the people who don't have as much as people who have more.
All the people who were born in a country that does not have as much as the developed world now have a champion who can 'tell it like it is' and put a 'hurting' on all those heartless bastard who through no fault of their own have the opportunity to take advantage of the opportunities thier country can provide.
From this imbalance you conclude that these 'lotto winners' (and I don't dispute that these lucky few are lucky) look down our 'high faluting noses' what with our 'fancy book learning'.
I call bullshit.
Can I surmise that you choose your name to identify with these poor unlucky people? Is your conclusion generated my your belief that 'us bookworms' do look down on you?
We see in other people what we see in our self and I leanrt that from 'fancy book learning and the school of 'hard knocks'.
Your position is that of an embittered person, lamenting missed opportunities and blaming other people for said missed opportunities.
I hope this is not the actual case.

That's just not true. You came onto that thread guns blazing claiming that you were going to clear up a misconception that only you had.
The superior attitude was yours, sir.

lol! No offense taken
I predict that you are a woman from colorado. You like staying inside when it's too cold but enjoy hiking. You prefer dogs to cats.

Of course we have an opportunity to put the verasity of your belief to the test.
Step one: define feeling, thinking and consciousness.
B: define a human.
Step three: correlate the two.
