Still and all, aliens seem much more probable than god. We arguably have a better body of evidence and reportage claiming the existence of aliens than we do claiming the existence of god.

Addendum:
The existance of dolphins and whales is, however, not in doubt.
So, let as ASSUME (and I concede there is no evidence for this) that cetaceans are smart, thinking beings. If that were true, would they also be Saved by Jesus?

If they really are smart, thinking beings they will probably not be religious, so I think it's Hell for them, I'm afraid. If Hell existed, that is. Which it doesn't. So there.
Besides, a lot of cetaceans are blatant fish eaters. I mean, fish. You know, as in the Christian symbol. That's a dead giveaway, innit? No, Jesus is known for a lot of wise words, but "Save the whales" ain't gonna be on his T-shirt.
Also, it's a bit hard for a man who died in 33 AD to go saving whales in the 21st century. And a bit late too, what with them being nearly extinct an' all.
Cheers.

Dont became offended Paramsonium,i am just joking.Friendsip, peace and love.We like you
A discussion between some people and Paramsonium:
Person-Hey why do you think the flood didnt happened?
Paramsonium-Because its absurd.Noah watched the meteorology on TV and saw that day will be a rainy day with a high precipitation. Then he goes to Zoo and buy all the animals. And then he wached the film "Titanic" and had a good idea.
Christian Person-But you know, the geological dating shows...,and the ocean floor...,Canopy theory...
Non-Christian Person-Yeah,but the temperature rises...,and the fossils...
Person-And about the Joshuas solar event?
Paramsonium-Joshua called Clark Kent. Then with X-ray Clark saw the enemies in the distance. Then he tell Joshua(lying) that he will get help to the Egiptians. He then hides behind a cliff and changes into Superman. Then he flyes to outer space and using his super velocity and super force he stops Earths rotation,Ah,Ah,Ah!
Christian Person-Nasa computers simulate...,and Quantum mechanics...,or a comet...
Non-Christian Person-No,it require a large amount of energy...,data didnt predict a comet...,there is no reference day for Nasa ...
Paramsonium,PLEASE,follow the example of Person,Christian Person and Non-Christian Person in this forum.
That is the real purpose of this forum.

Um...doesn't Jesus say at the last supper to "take of this and eat for it is my body"?
I would think that the cetaceans are simply doing what Jesus told us to do. It isn't like you can make matzo underwater.
No, the problem is the baleen whales...they eat krill which are tiny shrimp which are forbidden under the Levitical laws which are still in effect since Jesus said that not one jot, not one tittle of the law shall be changed until all be fulfilled.
As an aside, part of the reason that the fish became the symbol is that a common Greek acronym regarding Christ was Iesos Christos Theos Yios Soter, or "ICHTHYS," which is the Greek word for fish. That's why you see some of those bumper fishes with ICQUS embedded in it.

"Um...doesn't Jesus say at the last supper to "take of this and eat for it is my body"?"
You know, it's never occurred to me before but now that you mention it, isn't that a very strange thing to say: "take of this and eat it for it is my body"? What does he mean? It's his body and therefore it's obvious that they should eat it? What kind of nonsense is that?
Cheers.

It's one of them symbolic things, you know. By taking in the body of Christ, you become more Christ-like. Thus, the mysticism behind the transubstantiation. It really is the body of Christ and not just a wafer of unleavened flour. It really is the blood of Christ and not just a sip of wine. Though, of course, they are both still a wafer of unleavened flour and wine.

Yes Paramsonium as long as you use science discussion.
A good humor is good after all.
Ok.TO EAT JESUS BODY MEANS TO RECEIVE HIM IN YOUR LIFE BY FAITH.
THAT WAS THE REAL,UNIQUE AND EFICIENT WAY TO BE SAFE AND TO RECEIVE ETERNAL LIFE IN THIS WORLD AND ON THE OTHER.IS TO BELIEFE IN HIS SACRIFICE FOR YOU ON THE CROSS.THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IN THIS WORLD.YOUR GOOD DEEDS ARENT SUFFICIENT(ALTHOUGH NECESSARY AS A CHRISTIAN).YOU BECAME CHRISTIAN FOR THAT.Write this message everywhere and read it everyday until you receive the REVELATION about it,not the INFORMATION.Ah and read the bible from the beggining to the end and you will see that it is the central message.(Why do people insist that Jesus was an ordinary man when AAAAAALLLLLLLLL the BIBLE talks about HIM and his sacrifice.Read my reply about the Tree of Life also(I think it is on the "Biblical contradictions" thread).

I think that this...
quote:
"take of this and eat it for it is my body"? What does he mean? It's his body and therefore it's obvious that they should eat it? What kind of nonsense is that?
...is related to the old tradition of sacrificing a lamb or other animal to the alter of God and as such eating his "flesh" and "blood" is related to this old practice. Supposedly Jesus is acting as the "Lamb of God", and this may negate the necessity of those ritual sacrifices as he is now the only sacrifice worthy for God. I'm no expert on this but I do believe i have heard this told before.

Newborn,
Are you mispelling my name to annoy me? Or can't you read? Maybe you're dislectic? In any case, here's my advice: cut and paste my name if it gives you trouble typing it. Better still: figure out what it means, that might help you writing it correctly in one go.
So I should "use" science discussion. Science consisting of writing unsupported blather in capitals, writing it everywhere no less, and waiting for a revelation. And reading one particular book.
Thanks, but no thanks. That is not science. If you want to talk science you can start by telling me what the bible has to offer that really explains the world in a logically coherent way, and why it should be called 'scientific'. And remember that in a scientific discussion there can be no place for: ad hoc hypothesizing, false dichotomies, growing beards for want of Occam's razor, appeals to authority, appeals to ignorance, begging the question, and equivocation. Among others. Commit those fallacies and your argument is worthless.
Surprise me, Newborn. (If only by spelling my name correctly for once.)
Cheers.
