Just a quick question Brian. Does scripture count as evidence? Would reciting passages from the bible be enough to justify their athunticity or are you looking for scientific evidence? Just curious since I can see one form of evidence more forthcoming than the other.

Re: Ape philosophy?
quote:
If it had a beginning it had to be created.
That is the best evidence for a creator.
Not necessarily, is a possibility that there is a multiverse. If so than our universe may have existed in an alternate state before expansion. That would mean that in regards to this universe it did not require a creator. Though I will be honest and admit that this leads to a infinite regression of who/what than created this multiverse? For that I have no answer, but I can honestly say that neither do you. For if it was God who created the multi/universe than who created that God and so on and so on.

Re: No evidence so far.
What you have failed to do is present any actual evidence. You have stated a philosophy but that is not evidence for anything.
Icant writes:
I also presented evidence where Peebles mentions a beginning.
That is not evidence.
Icant writes:
If it came into existence it could only do so in 1 of 2 ways.
False. There is a myriad of possible ways.

Re: Proof of Creation
I think Brian was asking for proof of creation, not the creator.
quote:
Since the world exists, it had to have been created.
  —open mind
is hardly a logical answer to this. Also, I don't see how you extrapulate,
quote:
this world will have a will, and actually command people how to live their lives
  —open mind
from the belief that gravity caused the formation of the earth. Why would one imply the other?
Edited by rueh, : No reason given.
