Re: Try honesty

The scientific answers for the existence of the universe is the best evidence for a Creator because it makes just as much sense.
Hardly. That is nothing more then "don't know now? Goddidit." Your reasoning is why Animism came to be.ignorance looking for answers creates its own God.
There is no evidence for creation because creationism never happened.

Maybe creationists should take a step back and realise just how poor their position is scientifically.
Well if they did that, they wouldn't be creationists.
There is no empirical evidence for creation. In fact, YEC has problems that extend well into the philosophical, namely that God must be a giant liar.

Re: Proof of Creation
quote:
The idea of simple is that it does not have to be created.
That logic is complete nonsense.
Simplicity does not mean no creator. I bought a simple pencil. Does that mean it just appeared from nothing? H20 is a simple molecule. Does that mean it wasn't created from the joining of two hydrogen and one oxygen atoms?
Edited by obvious Child, : No reason given.

Re: Origins again
quote:
I agree, unfortunately religion seems to be holding ID back. I think fewer people would have a problem accepting ID as a scientific theory if religion was not always brought up.
Incorrect. Intelligent Design is holding Intelligent design back.
ID is nothing more then animism. If we cannot explain something now, therefore Goddidit. The water cycle was too complicated in the past to describe and explain and therefore it belonged to the realm of Gods who we had to placate with dances. Now that we understand it, we have abandoned the idea that Gods are responsible for the rains. Right now, instead of rain, it's complex biological functions and origins. In time we will determine how and why.

Because creationists like Snelling violate known issues such as testing non-cogenetic samples. And then they lie about testing homogeneous ones. A simple understanding of basic testing rules can easily show why a few examples of testing are deviant.
