And he never said such a thing in that transcript.He did say:

That is also what "deployed" means. Weapons systems are "deployed" when they are in the "field" ready to use.from the Concise Oxford English Dictionary:

It was a small mistake. And another lesson about how our memories (all of us!) and our perceptions are riddled with flaws.That is why important things need to be checked over and over.

That is going to be hard to come by since it seems these new things are all alleged leaks from McCain staffers. There is a possibility that they are trying to assign blame elsewhere but this seems like an odd way to go about it so I would give some credence to this. (it isn't inconsistent with what I've seen of her)

The opposite: if it is important that it be true you'd better check that it is doubly.
