Question:
1. If Darwin can conjecture that the tribolite descended from one-precambrian ancestor, and if there is found today a living tribolite almost exactly the same as in the fossil--can I speculate that Darwin took us for a ride?
You do realise that for something to evolve from a parent specie does not require the extinction of the parent specie, don't you?
Imagine if you had a parent specie X and this specie was separated by some geological change (such as a land mass being separated by water). We can call these X and X1.
Then a population pressure is placed upon X1 (but not X).
X1 will evolve to adapt to the new population pressure (X will not).
Role the clock on and X1 (who evoled form X) are happily living life to the full.
X is still around.
Makes sense?

Why, thanks DT.

How have I not answered your question: 'No he has not taken us for a ride'?

Re: I'm Out Thanks Guys
Hi DT.
Do you think that based on the small amount of information that you have that you could come to an inaccurate conclusion?

Jumping to conclusions.

If you draw your conclusions from a small set of data, and without putting any effort into it, I would suggest you use the word “speculate” in the same sentence,
I echo these sentiments.
If DT did not rely on such a limited data set before drawing inaccurate conclusions about my gender he or she would have described me as hansom, rather than beautiful .

Second, I’m already married to a woman who I’m pretty sure is way hotter than Larni,
you will win hands down on that score.

A pich of salt
It seems that the good Dr...er no that's not right:
It seems that the George Washington University graduate....er no that's not right, either.
It seems the high school graduate, 'Vedic archeologist' and regular talk radio conspiracy theory talk show guest is a wack job.
Why not take a look at a review of 'Forbidden Archeology'. Here we see how there is a seeming bias in the selection of evidence and the importance given to the evidence as well as the implications for obvious creationist a proiri assumptions.
One thing that made me laugh was the times evidence went 'missing' after conclusions were drawn.

Re: Most Invertebrates have HARD parts.
Many arthropods are fossilized in amber.
You mean preserved, not fossilised.

Re: Most Invertebrates have HARD parts.
So how does mineralisation occure inside amber?
