Although a nice proposal, I don't think that Straggler will find a poster of Bush & Co. in his living room quite as revolting as Buz will find a poster of 2 gay men kissing. So it's not really a fair comparison, now is it?

Ok Straggler forget donations, lets make it a bet involving ridicule, how 'bout if you lose you have to put a poster of GWB and Rush Limbaugh* in your living room for 2 months? However, if Obama is not the extremist Buz thinks of him as, then Buz must put a poster of two gay men kissing in his living room for 2 months? This will disinvolve you both of any illegal activity, and since we will require pictures from the loser, it will be a great source of laughs for those of us here at EvC. What do you say? I'm game!! Buz? In the unlikeley event that I lose I would become a social outcast. It is debatable whether even my family would talk to me anymore. In fact you lot at EvC might be the only ones who would

So it's not really a fair comparison, now is it? A picture of Bill Clinton and Obama in a manly (but very heterosexual!!) embrace?

Bluejay writes: It's easy to be open about your associations when you purposefully shun everybody that might make you look bad, the way Republicans do. Of course, I'm sure you remember the part from the New Testament where the Pharisees were smearing Jesus about who He hung out with, right?: Apples and oranges. Jesus was not like minded with the publicans and sinners. He came to save/evangelize them with his gospel. In order to do so he needed to make contact and mingle with them. He said that he came to save sinners, not those like the Pharisees who thought they didn't need his salvation. He went to the publicans and sinners for the purpose of making them new creatures. He and John the Baptist taught repentance. Obama's associates apparently were mentors and like minded ideologues with Obama and they weren't the kind of characters who any former president of the US would have been associated with whatsoever. If Obama had been a white man holding this baggage, he'd have never gotten past local dog catcher in public office. BUZSAW B 4 U 2 C Y BUZ SAW. Buz? It is a given that Wright, Ayers, Dorn, Farrakhan etc are extremists. That's the flock Obama flew in with. Birds of an extremist feather here, obviously. Obama won. We all lose! Obama and his portrait goes in our White House! BUZSAW B 4 U 2 C Y BUZ SAW. The immeasurable present eternally extends the infinite past and infinitely consumes the eternal future.

So it's not really a fair comparison, now is it? lol-no I guess not, but then again Buzs' feelings don't really concern me. Wouldn't it be nice to see a pic of Buz siping his morning coffee under a nice poster of a couple of fellas doing their thing? lol

You, Buz, are not in any way qualified to comment on what Jesus was like. You are the polar opposite of what we see portrayed as Jesus in the bible. He is shown as filled with love.

It is a given that Wright, Ayers, Dorn, Farrakhan etc are extremists. In whos eyes and by whos standards? By freightened white people who get scared anytime a black person voices their opinion about the horrors of slavery and segregation? If its by your standards then I can tell you first hand from a few friends directly, black people who lived in those times have extreme animosity towards white people who oppressed them, sorry for the shocker. In fact, its the feelings of having to placate to the sensitivity of 'scared white people' that Obama was forced to turn his back on long time friends like Wright. Because if a black person speaks up with animosity he is considered militant, why, because he's not subdued and doesn't know his place? Its the same euphamistic bullshit that is done with the US. If we attack it is a preemptive strike, if they attack its terrorism. "All great truths begin as blasphemies" "I smoke pot. If this bothers anyone, I suggest you look around at the world in which we live and shut your mouth."--Bill Hicks "I never knew there was another option other than to question everything"--Noam Chomsky

I just want to get this one thing straight. You are worried about 1) Obama being a Muslim and 2) the association he has with his Christian pastor?? and 3) His intentions to Israel because he chose a Jewish Chief of Staff??
Can anybody see the contradictions in Buzz's concerns? Edited by ramoss, : No reason given.

There are no contradictions as long as you realize that:Can anybody see the contradictions in Buzz's concerns? 1) Obama is a lying muslim in disguise 2) His christian pastor is associated with Louis Farrakhan of The Nation of Islam so he too is obviously a lying muslim in disguise 3) A Jew wouldn't work for a muslim so Rahm Emmanuel must also be a lying muslim in disguise. it also helps to have your head as far up your ass as possible, get a friend to assist you in really wedging it up in there. soon I discovered that this rock thing was true Jerry Lee Lewis was the devil Jesus was an architect previous to his career as a prophet All of a sudden i found myself in love with the world And so there was only one thing I could do Was ding a ding dang my dang along ling long - Jesus Built my Hotrod Ministry Live every week like it's Shark Week! - Tracey Jordan Just a monkey in a long line of kings. - Matthew Good If "elitist" just means "not the dumbest motherfucker in the room", I'll be an elitist! - Get Your War On *not an actual doctor

I am prepared to make moral judgments. Buz has made it easy. Just read his posts for awhile. He is consistent.
He is ignorant, fearful and hateful.

Hi, Buzz.
Buzsaw writes: Apples and oranges. I like those, too. -----
Buzsaw writes: Obama's associates apparently were mentors and like minded ideologues with Obama and they weren't the kind of characters who any former president of the US would have been associated with whatsoever. Buzsaw, you've totally missed the point. You're right: Barack Obama is not Jesus. He's not even close. But, you are stipulating that the President of the United States must not associate with certain types of people, when this is clearly not in harmony Jesus's teachings. Jesus Himself did not filter His associations in any way: He spent all His time with publicans and sinners, people that the mainstream churchgoers of Jesus's time would have been telling Him He shouldn't be associating with. You are doing exactly what the Pharisees did: "He shouldn't associate himself with those people, because they're evil." To rationalize it, you and Fox News have suggested that these associations were Obama's mentors, and will apparently become his co-conspirators in his attempts to destroy American values and freedoms. In reality, you simply cannot say this: you don't know what Obama and Ayers talked about, nor how much of it Obama internalized, nor how much of it would even be controversial, and you certainly can't tell me that everybody who attends a church for a long time must agree with everything their pastor does. So, you are jumping to conclusions in order to find support for your belief that Barack Obama is the anti-Christ. You are more than welcome to this belief. Just don't tell me I'm ignorant or stupid or immature for disagreeing with you. -Bluejay Darwin loves you.
