No. My reasons stated in the above message were personal in nature. Natural settings, in my case wilderness or at least a forested park is totally relaxing. Prior to my retirement, I sometimes worked as many as 27 consecutive days without a day off. Both my time in the military and at the post office. Getting away from the hustle was the most relaxing thing to me. My comments about bossy, irritating or pushy people are in regard to the way many people come off, particularly when they are stressed out or angry, not necessarily with the person they are talking to, but such things do "rub off" in such situations. My going to nature, as it would be to me, the non urban areas, gave me a chance to get the irritation, stress & anger away. Working for the U S Government for over 30 years tends to build up a lot of stress. Nature was the one way I could put up with it.

Although I never had a problem in a sleeping bag, 2 guys in a military unit I was evaluating, pitched their 2 Man pup-tent on a slight downgrade. Late that night a thunderstorm hit and the area they were in became a wash. They, in their sleeping bags became projectiles down the slope and into the stream at the bottom of the hill. Cold & wet awakening.

Actually, I feel that it is somewhat inherent that people tend to relate more to their formative years than to their adulthood. I find that people my age (60ish) tend to relate more to the 50's & 60's than to the 70's and beyond. The 70's, 80's. & 90's are like a blur. I think this could be the movement from innocence to the reality of life.

not unnatural but made with naturally occurring objects. Human structures require, for the most part, an alteration of the natural substances, ie: smelting of metals, processing of wood, making cement.
I don't recall ever seeing a beaver using a cement mixer or a bird using a chainsaw.
