If you're a christian, you're not suppose to believe in life elsewhere in the universe. Why? (1) The bible never mentions any creation elsewhere, (2) we're god's special and there is no other, and (3) the rapture is suppose to be happening pretty darn soon (anytime now).
There are a number of scriptures relative to life in the cosmos. There are other
son's of God mentioned in Job 1 who came to present themselves to God and Satan showed up with them.
In Revelation 5:11 we are told that there are beasts/living creatures, 24 elder creatures serving God and
thousands of thousands of angelic creatures assembled in the vicinity of God's throne. In other texts cherub and seraphims etc are mentioned as being out there.
In Daniel it mentions spirit beings who are assigned to nations, evidently assigned by Satan. One of these withstood an angel sent to Daniel but Michael the archangel came to fight the evil one and helped the lesser angel get to Daniel. So there is apparently warfare going on in the cosmos Perhaps that explains some of the warfare and evil that ensues upon planet earth. See Daniel 10:13,14
In Revelation 12 we read a time when Satan and his host of angels are cast out of heaven and onto earth where they inspire the end time antichrist world regime to make war with saints of God and overcome them. This is the great tribulation in which Christians are martyred globally. It's all emerging upon us.
Contrary to what most evangelicals teach, the
rapture catching up of Christians to heaven does not happen until after this great tribulation, the darkening of sun and moon, heavens shaken and Christ seen in the clouds etc. . See Mark 13:24-28.
