If the flood created fossil records is indeed a fact, then fossils can be created on short order. Why not re-create the conditions in a lab and make some fossils? It should be possible if the theory is true.
Given the right conditions some fossilization should take place. Even if it is very small, it could be measured and a time to create a fossil extrapolated from the results.
Why hasn't anyone pursued this?
