I don't know what would cause this. You ask if it's fixed now, but I've done nothing, so if it is actually broken then it should still be broken. Let me know if it continues and we'll see if we can get a handle on it.

I'm certainly not having the problem granny described. The only thing I can see wrong is the "peek", as CS pointed out. But if you click the reply button on a message, the peek facility does work, so we can actually use it that way. The smooth loading's great, and posts seem to be being made at a faster rate than normal.

It's not just the technical side I was commenting on, but a guess I made earlier about its effects. Participation could increase rapidly amongst existing members, and see if the rate of new people joining doesn't also increase. Watch the "number of people online" figures over the next week or so.

I seem to remember you talking about this fasty searchy thingy for at least a couple years now. and considering how much it costs us to use EvC and that Percy is doing this all on his own, we should be really disappointed

Back in 2004 I was making rapid progress, then my company reorganized, my job changed, and I lost all my free time. Progress on the discussion board software slowed to a crawl. But we're getting close! I expect dBoard 3.0 to be released before the end of the year, and hopefully much sooner. Some email problems have been brought to my attention. Are people still getting notifications?

I'm unable to duplicate this. Here's what I did, tell me how to modify it: I clicked on the "reply" button for message one, entered Message 4 into the message box, clicked on preview, then clicked on the "Message 4" link in the preview box, and it was fine. Seems to work now. Maybe it reset when I rebooted. Check your is the mail in.
