Some gems of critical thought about radiometric dating from the evolution fairytale forum..
I find it ironic in the extreme that "half life" is a statistical calculation. What's happening is something unknown is causing atoms to decay. Could be tiny coins are tossed in there, or tiny dice rolled. From the outside we don't know how often the coin is tossed or the die rolled. All that can be seen is the end result: every so often an atom decays. Because it's unknown, it's categorized as random. And my favorite one of all..
The 'half-life' is also an arbitrary abstraction. One could calculate a "quarter-life" or "tenth-life" or "hundred thousanth-life". I'm not aware of any law of nature designating the half as magically superior to other fractions.

I just tried to pull up the forum and I can't get a connection. I registered with the same name there but haven't posted anything. I wonder if I was banned because of this post? That would be too funny.
De Skudd is an analog of Dr. Zeus and is a bit comical. Only Fred Williams affects me the way you describe. Pretty creepy thought processes going on there. Well here is a link for the enlightenment of Lucy the Ape - perhaps a friend of Dr. Zeus? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KTHiIwxcexI&feature=related

Notice that these people use very "big" words. They think that being able to use "big" words in a sentence somehow gives them merit. Just use plain English for crying out loud!

This is a "Coffee House" humor/humour topic. While you may find certain creationist comments to be humorous, this is not a good place for such things. More so, it is not the place to debate/discuss such thing.
Or something like that. Adminnemooseus New Members should start HERE to get an understanding of what makes great posts. Report a problem etc. type topics:

It really helps moderators figure out if a topic is disintegrating because of general misbehavior versus someone in particular if the originally non-misbehaving members kept it that way. When everyone is prickly and argumentative and off-topic and personal then it's just too difficult to tell. We have neither infinite time to untie the Gordian knot, nor the wisdom of Solomon. There used to be a comedian who presented his ideas for a better world, and one of them was to arm everyone on the highway with little rubber dart guns. Every time you see a driver doing something stupid, you fire a little dart at his car. When a state trooper sees someone driving down the highway with a bunch of darts all over his car he pulls him over for being an idiot. Please make it easy to tell you apart from the idiots. Source |

Not humor, but I find it to be rather fasinating. Be sure to see links at page bottom for more pages.

I only see jerky video. The video is faster if you view them one at a time (click on the archives link at the bottom of the page), but it still just looks like jerky video. Do your eyes actually perceive it as 3D?

Do as i did. Drink a bottle of red wine and smoke a joint. Now it's 3D!
On the real though, i percieve it as regular video clips, GIF'ed and flaky. No 3D without illegal assistance

In Red Cop Car I see the hills at the right of frame in a 3-D that's as good or better than any 3-D movie I've ever seen. None of the others do it for me in the least.

All hail the power of Mjllnir!
Not that it did much good for Thor when he went fishing for the world-serpent, or, for that matter, against Jrmungandr...

I don't care what you people say, Prometheus is my personal savior, period.
Added by edit. Prometheus sacrificed himself to centuries of torture and pain so human civilization could progress. Life for mankind was a lot better ever since we had fire. Jesus suffered for a day for...? Edited by Taz, : No reason given.

Apparently the Florida legislature was contemplating creating this
licence plate. I'm curious: I know many here are Christians, what's your reaction? For we know that our patchwork heritage is a strength, not a weakness.
