we're not sure what would constitute evidence against intelligent design.
A lack of intelligence in the design?
I had a root canal a couple months ago. Hurt like a bitch. My back is spasming right now because I slept on it funny. I wear glasses because my eyesight is shot to hell. My girlfriend is on anti-depressants because of a chemical imbalance she was born with.
Fixing these imperfections wouldn't make us "all the same" (as in biglfty's post) but would sure lend a bit more credence to the idea that we were put together with some sort of plan.

You people are so quick to dismiss teleology simply because it can't be detected. You're assuming that the Intelligent Designer wanted stable, enduring, optimal creations. Isn't it obvious that he intended you to be gimps?
If he did, then the next person who says anything about God's great love for mankind gets a punch in the throat. Honest.
Regardless, I'm quick to dismiss a lot of things that can't be detected. Do you believe in Zeus? Thor? Anansi?
How about Batman? Why are you so quick to dismiss Batman?

Re: Batman ...
With Batman's arrival, the Shadow's previous covenant is no longer relevant. Do not be swayed by the Shadow, follow only the words of truth in Batman.

Re: Which Batman?
While the interpretations of the Batmanical scholars may seem at odds with the text, any contradictions you see are a result of your own imperfections. Do not be tempted by the Joker into doubting the word of Batman. Unbelievers are a superstitious, cowardly lot.
Personally, I find it amazing that a work with such a diverse spectrum of writers can survive for so many years, and maintain its consistency so strongly.

I'm amazed the admins haven't come out in military outfits and said, "That's enough, that's too silly!"

As long as we're dreaming things up... some sort of genetic signature would help me. A clue that the designer is proud of his/her work and wants to make their involvement in the project known.
What form this signature would take, I don't know.

FALL OF MAN STARTED this "imperfectness" that you observe today.
Then you agree that the human body, as it stands today, is not enough to suggest intelligent design?

The Robinists lost me when they covered up all those scandals involving the young boys in green speedos.
Me, I'm a strict Millerite, who awaits the Dark Knight's Return. We ordain women as Robins, you know.
