There is no reason for the kind of abuse Catholic Scientist hurls. I have been trying to have a civil debate with him, but because I disagree with him I have to put up with the following.

Taking the lead from studies showing that people tend to remember the items nearest the beginning and end of lists, the most important rules in the Forum Guidelines were made #1 and #10. Probably the 3rd most important guideline is staying on topic.

This shows dishonesty. Again.You can pretty much assume that if he needs to refer to a position as "RAZD" in his argument that he is wrong.He is free to make whatever claims he wants about what he believes, but it is just plain false and dishonest behavior to attribute his continued false straw man positions to me.Personally I think Is My Hypothesis Valid??? should be closed, it's well over the 300 post limit, and no new concepts have been discussed. Smooth Operator may be a highly amusing crackpot when it comes to geocentrism and aether theory, but he's also apparently affiliated with the well-known white-supremacist website Stormfront.Attention Required! | CloudflareI don't believe EvCforum has a specific policy on violence-inciting racist wastes of oxygen, but I very strongly suggest that this poster be permanently banned.

Has he posted anything here for which he should be banned?I think he will not be able to follow the forum guidelines (even with the wide latitude he is getting now) and will deserve a ban before very long in any case.

Only in that he's demonstrated terminal stupidity on the order of Flat Earthers. Without his racist trash I would place him on the level of a tesla, except that he likes to bring childish insults into the mix as well. I simply don't think evcforum wants to provide posting space for the type of violence-inciting racist feces that frequent Stormfront. Others have copied some of SO's actual racist diatribes, including assertions that blacks are incapable of forming a civilized culture, support for eugenics, etc. The same username was (as I linked above) posting the same sort of pseudoscience that our SO was - I think it's clear they're the same person.You guys run the place, so the decision is up to you obviously. But I for one am not going to respond to any post of SO's. I see no reason to dirty myself through correspondence with racist garbage.

Just to reinforce what AdminNosy already said, Smooth Operator will be moderated on the basis of his behavior here, not at other sites. He tends toward very brief unsupported statements of his position, but he has also contributed evidence and rationale. Naturally the more he tends toward the former at the expense of the latter it could become a problem, but it isn't possible to predict the future.
