Lineage of Jesus

The gospels were translated into aramaic very early. Probably the most well know of those translations is the Peshitta.Judge is convinced that the aramaic is the original language of the NT, rather than a translation. His arguments depend upon that primacy of aramaic. Judge and I have been through that debate already. EvC Forum: What language was Matthew written in?

But where is your evidence for this? It isn't enough just to say that is what happened. You need to provide some proof.

Because if Luke says Jesus is the son of Joseph he can't very well be the son of God, so instead he adds the disclaimer. Isn't it obvious?------------------
