it's the real thing?
Hi Bluejay
I don't know why we can't drink coffee.
Back in the 60's I worked for a summer in Idaho, and one of the guys there was a mormon. He told me that mormons could not consume stimulants, like caffeine ... except that when the church purchased a pepsi bottling company pepsi was okay ...
I never knew if he was joking or serious.
Enjoy.

The only good use of any cola is something to put rum in.

I totally agree. Considering I have well over 50 years of expierience, coke just tastes more robust.

They wanted to adopt a highway in Missouri
quote:
Most states have Adopt-A-Highway programs where organizations and groups can volunteer to keep a section of a highway clean of rubbish. Some years ago the state of Missouri lost a legal battle when it tried to prevent the Ku Klux Klan from volunteering. But they were ready in 2008 when a neo-Nazi group called the Nationalist Socialist Movement volunteered to clean a highway. "Sure," said the Missouri Department of Transportation, "You can clean this section of highway four times a year." The state immediately renamed the highway the Rabbi Abraham Joshua Herchel Memorial Highway, who gained Jewish fame by escaping Nazi Germany and becoming a prominent Jewish theologian and civil rights lobbyist in the United States. The Nazis are now keeping "his" highway clean - and don't dare stop.

Used to depend on my mood. Wasn't a slave to either. None shall pass my lips now. Gave up caffeine a couple months ago. Oh what a difference.
OH, I guess I lied. Rum and Coke tastes like crap with sugarfree, caffeine free, so I did have a few Cuba Libres when I was fishing in Canada last week.

Coke + 151 = karaoke
Pepsi + 151 = karaoke
151 + 0 = passed out on the floor
therefore Coke = Pepsi

Pepsi Jones
No joke: I keep Pepsi hidden in my room and basement. I wait for may parents to leave the house, then I sneak out to the store to by 2 liter bottles to refill my 20 ouncer. I'm 100 lbs. over weight and I'm not a big eater. 75+% of my caloric intake is Pepsi. I'm always moving: camping, hiking, boating, fishing, mowing the lawn, trimming the hedges, tending the gardens. My doctor advises that I seek counseling for Pepsi abuse.
A Week's Worth of Empties
I'm completely indifferent to Coke.

Everyone has a little Captain in them.
Spiced Rum > rum (that's why it gets capitals)
...where cola is concerned.

Re: Everyone has a little Captain in them.
I'd rather drink dish water than spiced rum. Do you know why they put "spice" in it? Because it is the crap rum that no one will buy. Dregs.
Now try some high end Appleton or Myers, or Bacardi 8 year old. Now you are talking. These Rums are best served three fingers on the rocks.
I have also had the Appleton 21 year old. That is unbelievable. Once caught my wife mixing it with Coke. Almost caused a divorce.

O'Brien on Beck on racism
"Yesterday on Fox News, commentator Glenn Beck said that he believes President Obama is a racist. To be fair, every time you watch Glenn Beck, it does get a little easier to hate white people." - Conan O'Brien
I earlier weeded a couple of Bush era quotes out of my "signature". I've now added the above quoted.
Yes, it's a lot of quotes. But I make a point of only activating my "signature" occasionally, by no means every time I post.
