Since most who come to this forum are unbelievers in God who created the heavens and the earth, and you reject the God of the Bible, I would like to see these folk answer the following questions:
(1) What kind of God would you be if you could be God?
None since I reject the concept of gods or other supernatural entities
(2) What kind of cosmos would you have created?
Irrelevant since the concept of creation would need a creator for which see answer to question (1)

Re: Should I Rape Suzy? Part III
Should I rape Suzy?
No!!!! not Suzy or Jane, or Mary, or Paula, or Esther, or......
Rape is not only morally wrong it is inhuman. It is something that certain religious people seem to to think is alright when their deity says so, but it is not. I am also an Atheist for those who do not know it.

Re: Hellfire, Dammit
Boy - no wonder you have such troubles with the bible. You simply twist any thing you can twist to suit your argument.
Unfortunately, that is what most people, whether religious or not, do. They simply interpret it in any way that makes it appear to agree with their ideas.

Re: Rape in the Bible
And i know that God would never ask such a thing because of what the bible reveals about him...that same information is available to everyone
But that is just what he commanded his "Chosen People" to do to those people in Canaan so why would he not ask you yo do the same.

Re: Rape in the Bible
Those people chose to war with God...some of them surrendered and they became a part of isreal, so how can that be unjust on Gods part.
Chose war? They were attacked? God in this case was just like Hitler, Tojo, Stalin, Pol Pot, Bin Laden or George W. Bush, A warmonger.

He chose Isreal because they were the descendents of his friend Abraham.
So what about Abraham's other decendents, Ismael & Esau?

and whats wrong with theocracy?
Ever check out Spain at the time of the inquisition, Germany at the time of Martin Luther or Afghanistan under the Taliban?
Martin Luther was a fugitive, not only under the church, but under civil law as well. In a Theocracy, only those who adhere to the state Religious sect are true citizens, everyone else is either considered a less that total citizen or is persecuted.
