Onifre?
Is this our Onifre?
Can't imagine there are a whole lot of Onifres out there (uncommon name), so I'm guessing yes.

That's what you get for using your real name, bro. But you're pretty good, and I don't see what there's to hide. Now at least I have the right face and voice to associate with your posts.
Did you write the jokes for the short film?

http://www.jesus-is-savior.com/
I had the toughest time deciding whether this site is legit or some kind of parody. It's just so over the top fundy that it calls CS Lewis a satanic heretic, calls the pope the vicar of hell, lambasts the "new world order", raves against alcohol, disney, public schools. Goes without saying that it's antievolution as well.
In short, I couldn't help but feel that I was looking at the contents of Kent Hovind's brain smeared out on a website. I can't decide if I should laugh, or get sick in a bucket.
PS. I'm not responsible if your computer decides to vomit on you.
ABE:
On whether Christians should own a television, the site says:
quote:
Personally, I think it depends upon the individual. For example: some women have a tendency to become lazy and sit around watching soap operas instead of getting their housework done. In such a case, I think, a Christian woman ought to not have a TV, unless she can discipline herself concerning what and when she watches TV.
Made me LOL.

Going on in the same vein as my last humor contribution, here is another fundy contribution to separation of chuch and sanity.
As a Christian, this kind of stuff makes me want to cry.
This also seems another example of creationist foot-shooting.

ABE: And that's just the promo video. The full video contains such nuggets as:
Student says:
quote:
When presented with such evidence that the world has come up with, it scares me how convincing it is!
Another Student says:
quote:
I was not prepared to hear all the different views presented
I mean what do people want out of college! Professors to pat them on the back and reaffirm their beliefs???!
And of course:
Narrator:
quote:
In 2008, a documentary film crew followed the journey of one college freshman and captured actual footage of a re-enactment of his first day of classes
Followed by a series of poorly acted professors raging against Christians.
It's no wonder fundies believe the education system is anti-christian when nonsense like this is proliferated
