Re: Amazing!
No, you don't understand. Obviously Augustus's death was an ill omen fortelling that my marriage was not to last, and that I would be happier with my girlfriend. And so it has come to pass.

Yeah, I'm sure Jesus appreciated the sentiment. A glass of water may have been better, maybe some sunglasses, perhaps sun-block...I don't know. I didn't get that far into that mythology book. How does it end?
It figures. The monumental importance of the event completely went over your head.
No one will get a serious reply who doesn't treat a serious subject seriously. Do you think you can grasp that?
(psst; in case you don't...it means 'ignore').

Why are you feeding this troll?
The question is: why are you here? You have nothing to offer.

Ridicule is the only weapon which can be used against unintelligible propositions. Ideas must be distinct before reason can act upon them; and no man ever had a distinct idea of the trinity. It is the mere Abracadabra of the mountebanks calling themselves the priests of Jesus. -- Thomas Jefferson

The single most important event in all of history marked by scripture centuries ahead of its time, natural phenomena, the testimony of contemporary historians of the time, as well as the written accounts by the followers of God's Son...yet these individuals treat the whole matter like its trash.
It will cost them eternally.
But the facts remain and there isn't anything they can do about it.

Chipotle!
Too funny, I just watched that one last night. Brilliant and appropriate response!

Doctor Bashir: "Of all the stories you told me, which were true and which weren't?"
Elim Garak: "My dear Doctor, they're all true"
Doctor Bashir: "Even the lies?"
Elim Garak: "Especially the lies"

is that there was a strange 'darkness' that day.
Tell me more about this strange darkness, Trollysis4. Did the Sun play Extreme Cepheid For A Day?
And how does a vantage point on the freakin' MOON where one could see the glowing ring around the earth outshining all of Aires do anything at all for your mythology?

No it didn't. I'm an atheist, so yea, to me that story doesn't mean much. But you are making yourself look like an ass pointing to an eclipse as something impressive, and you're making a mockery of that story (to those who it actually means something to) by reducing it to mythological insignificance.
That's why people are clowning on you, but you're too self-absorbed in your ignorance to realize it.

Serious subjects

Sounds fair.
Please post a serious post dealing with a serious subject.
It would be a nice change.

Religious belief does not constitute scientific evidence, nor does it convey scientific knowledge.

Calypsis,
In that case, the colossal number of eclipses that have occurred where fuck-all happened represents far stronger evidence that god doesn't exist than your one iffy example does that he does.
Thank you for evidentially confirming atheism.

When are you going to learn that you can't communicate to me like that and get a response. So either behave at least like a semi-professional or don't even bother.
