I'm a freak for Top Chef - I also LOVE old school wrestling.
Music would be Dido and Bon Jovi.
That's about it. I don't really do much else that isn't within the "cool" status, lol.
But I have to agree with Stile, this site is the guiltiest of pleasures that no one close to me knows about.

Re: Guilty pleasures....
The only thing I have against reality shows like Survivor is that they take away TV spots for actors who would otherwise have a job if the networks didn't flood the market with reality shows.
Networks don't have to pay shit to the shows cast, at all, so they save themselves lots of money and still get the advertising money.
As a friend to many out of work actors I can tell you that the Networks are fucking actors hard with these reality shows, and for that reason (and only that reason) I never watch them - except Top Chef but that's not on a Network.

It should also be Quiet Riot to me...
...but that's what I get for bangin my head too much!
- I just caught that! LOL
Quiet Riot rocks. They're the ones who taught me that girls should rock their boys.

Re: Guilty Pleasures
Oh my god! If I were your father I would disown you.
I know, I know - I'm ashamed of it myself. And it sucks cuz it creeps up on me. I'll be at a bar, not being totally gay, until a Jovi song starts, then I turn into an insane Jersey girl and sing every fuck'n word. Its sad.
Yep me too!
Although I get asked at work what that eternal dark blue backgrounded website that I keep minimising whenever anyone appoaches me is..... And my missus refers to my time here as "conversing with the sect".
Basically nobody knows that I am here.........(Phew!)
Save yourself the explanation and tell them its porn.

Re: Guilty Pleasures
If you come to London and start kareokeing "cock rock" or MOTRD at the first opportunity you are on your own.
Ok Ok, fair enough. I'll contain my love for pussy rock; wouldn't want to out do any Brit singing Boy George tunes.
I manage the internet access where I work......
So that will be all too believable.....
Yikes... they prolly think its porn anyway. LOL

Re: Guilty Pleasures
Hey I know BG!
Sorry, didn't mean to insult your man 'BG' like that ... easy buddy, don't get your flamboyant feathers ruffled up.
True. True. Better that than the Evc Truth though.
Honestly, I think people would just ask me why I cared so much about this subject to argue it obsessively, and I'd have no reasonable answer to tell them that they "get". I'd just say "cuz I want to!" Then I'd go out in a Blaze of Glory!*

Re: Guilty pleasures....
Chocolate ice cream (without sprinkles, hate them)
Why add sprinkles when the chocolate ice cream works so well without them.
Being alone.
Yea, I can really feel that. I spend so much time alone that I can't be around people for too long before I'm ready go back to being a recluse.
I'm guilty of attending several Trekkie conventions and actually dressing for them.
OMG!!! That's awesome.
Just for you, Spock at a Starwars convention:

Re: Mitch Benn on James Blunt
Any Blunt haters out there might find this therapeutic.
That song was hilarious! I enjoyed his Stairway parody. The dude has talent.
Mitch Benn, incidentally, is well worth seeing live. The songs are tight and he has a great rapport with the audience.
I'll have to keep an eye out for him.

General question to see if we have any:
Anyone dress like the Cure in High School?

Re: The Cure, anyone?
My sister did. She loved the dark eye shadow and the freaky 'Spiderman' video.
Good song, scary video.
She wanted to be a grave digger, too.
Crazy bitch.
I think I'm in love.

Re: YEAH BOY! Public Enemy Number One Is In the House
Public Enemy, NWA and Boogie Down Productions.
Mc Ren from NWA was sick, Fight the Power was my anthem in Jr High, and KRS One is still one of my favs. Good choices you white rebel you.
Once I hit high school I discovered metal, then thrash metal - that was the end of my "gangsta" era. Didn't get into hip hop again till Pac and Biggy. From time to time I still listen, but I like the old shit better - even though Dre and Snoop did well.
However, these days I like Mos Def and Common.
Anyway to cut a long story short I still get together with some of my fellow old school "wiggas" and pump out the PE from time to time.
I'd like to see that.
You say the "n" word when you sing along with the music, right? - I do, loud and proud. LOL

Re: The Cure, anyone?
Kind of close, dude.
Close indeed! You look like my sister's friends - and I loved them all!
Me at 14.
You look cute, I looked sad at that age. Haha
But I'd like to see a pic of Straggler in his wigga dayzz, lol.
