I have to agree on Star Trek. I'm guilty of attending several Trekkie conventions and actually dressing for them. Have friends that organized the "Klingon" Security group to protect the actors and the fan artifacts (inside people that know what is valuable compared to the average security guard who could care less if you walk out with a certain comic or two).
Also Science Fiction conventions (met Asimov, Anderson, GR Dickson, AEvanVogt, and many others). Also won "most beautiful" award for costumes at one: skin tight green outfit to portray a seafarin world denizen. Sorry, no pictures.
Being alone.
and certainly this site, no question, no doubts, my family all (well except one who has been sucked into the vortex) wonder why I spend so much time on it.
Chocolate ice cream (without sprinkles, hate them) especially now that my cancer diet means absolutely NO sugar.
Coffee.
Enjoy.
