I have tried to have a sensible conversation with achristian1985 in answersincreation.org (Literal Genesis AND Old Earth Creationism?), but I'm afraid that it doesn't really seem possible. He has reverted to posting the same screed that he has already dumped onto various other threads. Latest example here; Message 207. What's kinda irritating is that he is repeating claims that have already been trashed and which he hasn't bothered to defend.Repeating bullshit claims as if they hadn't already been refuted? Admin PD,I want to personally offer my apology for unnecessary talk towards Dr Adequate. (Faith and Belief: Straightforward questions... thread) Its just that I've heard the same analogy from him *many* times before and there are serious flaws in it. Next time, I'll suffice myself with pointing out the flaws and keeping quiet. Sorry.Thanks.

A search of my posts shows that I have never used that analogy before on any forum; also that of my 3694 posts to date, only 40 of them have been made on the Faith and Belief forum, since these are not issues that I usually care to discuss.

It is irrelevant whether you have heard the analogy before. Since variations of the the same topics get discussed over and over, we do run into similar analogies. That is no excuse to attack participants personally. Hence the warning to argue the position and not the person. Please restrain yourself in future posts.Dr. S and Dr. A,

My only justification is that after how many years of how many people telling Buzsaw the same thing and him apparently lacking the cranial capacity to understand anything with more than three syllables.....There, I've done it again, haven't I?Well, I can only say mea culpa and throw myself on the mercy of Admin. If a suspension is warranted, I'll accept my censure with dignity.

What subbie said. I got mad.I meant every word, but if I've run afoul of the rules, I'll take my licks....could we maybe add a "thou shalt not lie" commandment to the rules? I know, it's almost impossible to enforce, but it's really, really frustrating sometimes.

Since it's a Coffee House thread, and since there's a long history of Buzsaw's (and ICANT's) ability to exhaust patience through sheer inability to comprehend that is compounded by a determination to continue on regardless, this moderator sees no need to get involved at this time.
