Wouldn't the only non-transitional forms be the first life, the end of an evolutionary path, and modern forms?

We have plenty of discussion threads. There's no need for someone to fill the role of initiating threads that they subsequently ignore. The presumption is that thread proposers are proposing threads about topics that they want to discuss, not topics that they want to watch others discuss.

I didn't intend to ignore the other thread I started, I share a computer with three other people and by the time I got back to check the other thread I had proposed it had 3 pages allready. How long does it normally take for a new thread to be put into one of the other forums?
Thanks for explaining to me that I may not be able to start threads here though.

There's no duty schedule for moderators, but it usually takes less than a day to promote an acceptable thread proposal. It is not uncommon for moderators to request revisions or to reject a topic proposal.
I'll leave this proposal open for now. Once there are some posts from you so I can gain an impression about your participation style and level of knowledge then I suggest you post here again asking me to reconsider. I can tell you now, though, that I'm highly unlikely to promote a one sentence topic proposal. The opening post needs to be fleshed out. There's an edit button.
