Further specificity seems superfluous

Generally oscillating between the Coffee Depot in Warren and the waters of Narragansett Bay, with occasional stasis in some locations, with frequent perturbations as far as Cape Cod and Springfield MA and occasional perturbations much farther afield. Correlation is high (R^2>0.99) with the density of wifi access and caffeine during stasis periods, with outlying data points generally correlating with kayak accessible waterfowl habitats and to bicycle specific corridors (R^2>0.6) .

As per the identifier, Big Spring, Texas - 50 miles southwest of the great metropolis of Snyder and 40 miles east of Midland - known to this part of the world, proudly for most here and sadly for most the rest of humanity, as the place little Bush grew up and old Bush increased his fortune.
It is a bit over 300 miles east of Dallas, Austin, and San Antonio, or as some would say, the last remnants of civilization when heading west until Socorro, NM. Specifically, I live across the street from Howard College, who's Quality Enhancement Program is to increase critical thinking. It truly is ground zero in the war against political and religious fanaticism. But such is life in the great American semi-arid desert, where we have deer, coyotes, foxes (both red and gray), eagles, porcupines, geese, cranes, javalinas, armadillos, opossums, and a massive amount of skunks, all personally seen within city limits, and the latter two, helping themselves to cat food in my own kitchen when the door is left open. {ABE} I forgot to mention, supposedly we have the most churches per capita of any city in the US{/ABE} Edited by anglagard, : No reason given. Edited by anglagard, : {/ABE} not {/qs} too much history Edited by anglagard, : My daughter saw her first armadillo 2 seconds before she squashed it during a driving lesson, how could I forget? The idea of the sacred is quite simply one of the most conservative notions in any culture, because it seeks to turn other ideas - uncertainty, progress, change - into crimes. Salman Rushdie This rudderless world is not shaped by vague metaphysical forces. It is not God who kills the children. Not fate that butchers them or destiny that feeds them to the dogs. It’s us. Only us. - the character Rorschach in Watchmen

I grew up on a cattle ranch 13 miles east of Paulina, OR and still think of that as home.
I live in Albany, between Salem and Eugene on I5, 10 miles east of Corvallis and Oregon State University. Albany was once called the "Armpit of Oregon" by former Governor Tom McCall because of stinky heavy industry. McCall, a Republican, inspired the environmental movement in Oregon. One of his sayings was "Come and visit Oregon, but don't stay" and he is also credited with "Don't Californicate Oregon". Boise, Idaho. Cool, but beautiful sunny early spring day today. The picture below is exactly what it looks like today. Just a little snow on the peaks, no leaves quite yet in the City of Trees, but still very nice.

On the border of Portsmouth, NH and Kittery, ME in northern New England.
A coastal city that is 45 minutes north of Boston, 45 minutes south of Portland (Maine), and 45 minutes west of Manchester. Basically it's in the middle of nowhere. It's quaint.... Way too quaint for someone like me who's lived in major metropolises all my life. A ton of history though, which I like. That's like its only redeeming quality.
