Any other "metal heads" present? I typically am fond of Viking/folk/Nordic/pagan metal. It's comparable to black metal in the sense of sound (for the most part) but instead of the typical Satanic background it focuses on old European folklore and religions. Pretty cool. Yeah you gotta have the taste for it. In the heart of every black/viking metal fan, the production quality is almost expected to be low to give the atmosphere of it. I understand the vocals, I too am not a fan of such style but I can tolerate them. At first I hated them but now you just expect it.
