Actually, the spammer resurrected the thread....inadvertently I'm sure.
But while I'm here, I only read the first page, I'm not going to go back and read the other 14 pages unless this gets heated again. From my understanding of Scripture, the OP took the verse way out of context. The context is Gen 6 and the pending flood. Most conservative scholars agree that it took Noah 115-120 years to build the ark, thus, man's days had been numbered by God until the flood occurred. I believe someone touched on this on the first page. It has nothing to do with how long someone lives today.
