1- What is your level of skepticism ? (I gotta say mine is extremely high)
As always, high.
2- If it really turns out to be what they say it is, what are the implications ?
We can chuck out most of what science tells us happened. Including genetics, archaeology, geology, linguistics and probably a bunch of other stuff. It means that we have been wrong about almost everything, or that god is a giant prankster that likes to make things look as if the flood never occurred.

Gerrit Aalten
I looked around a bit, and the only thing I could find about this dude was some profile on a Christian site (here and here) in which he talks about how great it is he now believes in god and how he got there, and his Hyves page (here) (kinda like facebook). It's all in Dutch though.
If this is the same guy, here is his picture, if that helps:
Admins, if this is not Ok, I'll remove the pic.
In short, I don't think he's an expert in anything.

Re: Reported to be a fake
There is one tiny little thing I don't like about this blogpost. That's his mention of "Piltdown man" as a hoax done by evolutionists. It wasn't, it was perpetrated on them, not by them. And anyway, who were the ones who finally told the world it was a fake, that wasn't the creationists, but the evolutionists themselves. Why tell the world it was a hoax when it's supposed intention was to fool the world into believing evolution, that makes no sense.
Anyway, carry on.

So I'll add a couple questions:
1- Do you believe the chinese crew is being truly honest ?
Even if they are the victim of a hoax, they're still not honest. Honest people do not go around saying stuff like "It's 99.9% sure this is the Ark!" without some proper research and tests being done first.
2- Do you believe they really found a manmade structure up there ?
Could be. Would have to see some evidence first though, and some confirmation by independent scientists.
3- Were they tricked by the local Turks ? How could they have done that ?
They built a structure there themselves?
4- If they were not tricked, and they really found a manmade structure up there, what are all the possibilities ? Is the ark even a possibility for you ?
It's a possibility, though a very very small one, so small as to be almost entirely unlikely, in my mind. Even if the Ark story is true, then there still would be no reason for there to be an ark today. I would've tore it down to use as building material, if I were Noah. Other possibilities? A shelter for shepherds who took their stock into the mountains, perhaps? Though I admittedly do not know enough about this to comment on it.
