I'm already a member of gameknot, and I'm up for this, as long as the clock isn't too rapid. User name is hydraulic_organ.

Shall we go?
So, it's been a while now, shall we start? We don't need a massive group for a good tournament, and there are 6 of us, not 4 (me, you, CosmicChimp, Catholic Scientist, slevesque and hotjer. What format were you thinking? Just in case you were expecting high quality competition, by the way, I'm not particularly good!

Re: Problem
You know, we could just play games against one another, and arrange the tournament ourselves. I know that we've all become a little bit reliant on technology these days, but they were able to play chess tournaments before people designed computer programs that would keep the score, and I think we're up to it too! What type of tournament were we planning on? We could have everyone play everyone as each colour, with +1 point for a win, -1 for a loss, and 0 for a draw; then a playoff for the top two or top four. How does that sound? This is just an idea - I'm not fussy about format. ABE: A quick read establishes that +1 for a win, +1/2 for a draw and 0 for a loss is more standard chess scoring. We up for that, and do we want a playoff? Edited by caffeine, : No reason given.

Re: Problem resolved the old-fashioned way
Please report all winnings on this forum so that I and Caffeine can keep track. Ack! Does this mean I've coralled myself into keeping score? Oh well. I'm not entirely sure how you're working this though. What happens after this first round? ABE: I've sent you all friend requests on gameknot, which should make it easier to keep track of what's going on. If it's okay by everyone, can we keep all the games public, so as to spy on each other's performances? Edited by caffeine, : No reason given.

Re: Small change of plans
Et voila. I accidentally made this smaller than intended, but it's already uploaded now. I can update this periodically (and make it bigger), so that we know where we stand. In the 'Games' column, the three numbers stand, respectively, for games in progress, completed games, and games yet to begin.
By the way, don't be offended if i refuse any of your challenges. I can just only take so many games at the same time!

Re: Win for Hyro
You had to go and make my pretty little table outdated even before I'd finished making it, didn't you? Well, I'm still not updating it till tomorrow, so there.

So Hyro and Slevesque have stormed to an early lead, by dint of the cunning strategy of finishing their games really quickly. Clever. ABE: Okay, I have no idea why this has wound up smaller than the last one. I blame photobucket. Edited by caffeine, : No reason given.

Re: Win for Hotjer
I'm busy this weekend, but I'll put up a score update Sunday or Monday. I'm predicting a win before too long for omnivorous, lest I manage to make up for some early errors.

Okay, here we go. CosmicChimp's running away with it so far with four straight wins, but it's early days yet and most of us are still yet to lose a game.
I've realised that this is apparently the maximum image size photobucket allows you to put up for free nowadays. If someone can recommend me a better free image hosting site, I'll put this table up in full size so you can read it properly.
