Where are all the gods?

I dont know about the gods but I met my goddess the other day. I knelt down to worship at the holy alter and all my prayers were answered. You guys must not be doing it right. You have to worship long and hard, and really mean it. A little bit of groveling is OK but not too much. Pay attention and be patient, keep your eyes open and you ll come across one in no time.Goddess bless.P.S.- I really didnt envision this as my first post on what I consider to be a gem of a site. Hope I havent offended any of the local gods.Will

Let me assure you, she was a vision. Well...she never said that to me. Tell me about it. I had to sit down, stand up, move over, bend over, reject the evil, reject all other goddess's (even if they are shiny), give up a bunch of other stuff and finally I received the blessing. Smutty?!? Careful or you might get smoted. Mine too. She said it was all about me. Dawn eh? Typical...make me suffer before I die.

Why is that?

My children understand when they are being punished. I make sure that they understand. The whole point of the punishment is to help them understand not to make them suffer.If my child does something that is wrong but does not know that it is wrong the last thing I would do is punish them. I would make every effort to clearly explain in language that they do understand.Eventually, my children will grow up and they will understand my ways. When do we get to grow up in God's eye? After we die? And then we are tried as an adult for things we did as a child?If God is my father why does he not speak english?
