More scammers
Last week, I got this email. Somehow, it got through my filters, so I had to look.
quote:
Dear Beloved,
My name is Mrs. Margaret Denko. I am a dying cancer woman, who had decided to entrust part of my wealth to you, for the establishment of Orphange Homes.
I have been touched by God to enstrust you with GBP 9,500,000.00 (Nine million, Five hundred thousand British Pound Sterling) to you as part of my legacy.
Mother Margaret.
I replied...
me writes:
No, you cannot trust me. First thing I will do with the money is I will hire some people to kidnap those orphans so I could rape them.
Then today, I got this reply.
quote:
My Beloved ,
I must let you know that your email has brought life into me. Where you live is not a problem. In my next email to you I will scan and send a picture of my self and the Doctor. Beloved I assure you this is a very simple process, and have in mind that the funds was deposited in a bank .I want you to know that my main aim is to do something the lord will appreciate before I leave this earth, and this is highly risk free I assure you because the funds is owned by my late husband and presently I am the beneficiary, but since the doctor have said that I have a short time to stay on earth, I think the best thing is to put smiles on the faces of the less privileged.
Please do reconfirm your details which I will need to know you better, after that I will then give you the details of the Bank so that you will contact them. For them to recognize you as the current Beneficiary, my Dear child I want you to know that this will not take us more long time to conclude if we act accordingly. Send to me your details as i need to know you better as stated below:
Your full name:
Contact address:
Phone and Fax number:
Age and Occupation:
Remain Blessed.
Mother Margaret
I mean... seriously...
So, I replied...
me writes:
Your full name: Percy Minnemooseus
Contact address: 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue Northwest, Washington, DC 20500
Phone and Fax number: 424-202-6983
Age and Occupation: Professional Blow Job Giver
Hope they get the message this time.

What do you get when a Sister is flying in a jet at fifty thousand feet?
A nun of the above.
What do you get you have a Sister who left the nunnery?
A nun the less.
What do you get when you have a sister who became a lawyer?
A bar nun.

Re: Was Darwin wrong?
An online friend of mine told me a nice story about that. In his town there's a creationist with a sort of creationist kiosk where he distributes creationist literature. And ... yes, you're probably way ahead of me ... when that issue of NG came out he bought up dozens and handed them out like Halloween candy.
Says it all really, doesn't it?

That reminds me of a chemistry joke: orthodox, paradox and metaphysicians.
(Aren't chemists hilarious?)

wow.
I saw the gorilla, but thought it was there to throw off my count.
I did not see the background color change, nor a player from the black-shirts leave.
that was really cool, thanks

can I make post here without making a joke?
in case I cannot:
A black guy and a Mexican jump off a cliff, who hits the ground first?
who cares?
Edited by Artemis Entreri, : forgot to add a joke

I did, but then again, I expected shit to happen. I didn't see the black player leave, guess i was a bit more concentrated on not losing count while still being able to see the "big picture", but did realize she was gone by the end of it, because there were only 2 black players left.

The Cynical Experimental Subject Monkey
I caught all the monkey business.
I figured that the pass count was a smokescreen, and that they would tell me the count anyway. So I watched everything but the passes, but made a fair guess at 14.
That reminds me of Ken Kesey wowing the research team when , on request, he could tell precisely when a minute had passed despite a heavy dose of LSD. He had noted his heart rate when it was measured earlier and counted beats to determine one minute.
Conclusion: We monkeys are sneaky and hard to measure.

Every time I hear the word Paradox I think it sounds like a pair of ducks.

A Creationist Writes
This made me lol.
Second, Meert links the global Flood of the Bible to the Epic of Gilgamesha flood story recorded on ancient clay tablets excavated from the ruins of Nineveh more than a hundred years ago. Parallels with the Bible are obvious but the Gilgamesh story has clear fictional characteristics such as an ark the shape of a cube, and rainfall lasting only six days and nights.
