Genesis 1 vs. Genesis 2

Hi jar, You could have fooled me on this one. Be specific, which verse says the Sun was created on day four?Where do you find כרא used in Genesis 1 concerning the Sun? But that statement is not in Genesis 1. This says the Earth was created in the beginning along with the heaven.It does not put a date of beginning to exist anywhere in the book. It only says in the beginning. It sure does not say anything about the Sun being created on day four.But from day four the Sun was visible from the Earth. Genesis 1 says no such thing. This verse says the earth was to produce the grass seed yeilding herb and fruit trees from the seed that was on the earth.Seed being on the earth would require plants to have existed to produce those seed. So no these plants were not the first plants. Well no the earth was told to produce the plants from the seed that was in the ground prior to the work done on the sun.There is no Hebrew word in Genesis 1 that refers to the creation of the sun.If you can find the Hebrew word כרא in Genesis concerning the Sun please point it out. You made that statement 3 times in your post to me.Your claim has been refuted.The problem is not that Genesis 1 is incorrect. No, there's no magical forces, but gravity (whilst the weakest of the four known forces) certainly is powerful enough to pull planets together. Gravity keeps the sun burning, gravity pulled this planet and all other planets in this and all other star systems together. Gravity keeps our planet in the solar system, orbiting the sun, and it keeps the moon orbiting the earth. It may be a weak force, but it's all-pervasive throughout this universe.

Actually...there is. That filter is called "heat". The sun is quite hot, right? this heat acts upon the atoms and molecules floating around out in space. Gravity acts to pull these atoms and molecules together, so they naturally "clump". Heat from the sun on the other hand makes them expand (particularly when they are gaseous). I have seen this OP brought up in at least two other forums on a regular consistent basis. It's an idea that certainly is never constipated. Unfortunately.So it's not an original thought. There are ZERO "contradictions" or errors between Genesis 1 and Genesis 2. The only erroneous thing going on here is the OP.I'm not sure how and or why people can expect to be taken seriously when inane posts like this are put forward, especially given that it is to do with accuracy and inerrancy.One has to be in the mood for a pointless argument to even bother lifting a finger on this one. I've debated it with people until I am blue in the face and ready to be carried out to an ambulance on a gurney "MEDIC!" Because I don't see any point in hanging about here if they are.As I have said, I have done this stupid non arguement to death mate. The original post, (which is what I am addressing, not what ever side show you and your collegue here have been entertaining yoursleves with), needs to substantiate itself first and back itself up, which it has not done - it is for want of a better word, a false statement.It would be like me starting a thread stating something like; Dawkins contradicts himself on page 23 of the God Delusion by stating that there are no such thing as Dinosaurs when in page 25 he clearly states that he quite fancies a brontesaurous burger and chips of an evening, after a hard day blowing hot air.
