Hi, Quetzal!You lead an exciting life! This would be SOP. Many members access the site from different computers and ISPs, probably mostly dependent upon whether they're at home or work or visiting relatives.Sometimes people register as more than one ID using different email addresses, and when we administrators suspect this has happened we check the IP addresses. Of course, if the person uses computers with completely different IP addresses for each ID then we wouldn't be able to tell both accounts were the same person. And it's also not uncommon to find more than one person using the same computer or computers on the same local network, so sometimes matching IPs doesn't work. For instance, IP addresses tell me that Schrafinator and Zhimbo are likely the same person, but of course we know that's not the case - or is Zhimbo merely a construction of Schraf? --Percy

Well, okay, ignore the accumulating evidence if you like, but I think the "Were there one or two IPs" issue is far from settled.--Percy
