There were still any drugs left by the 90s? Actually, no. But have you ever heard of the placebo effect?

I think that this is very funny.
You probably have to be British and share my sense of humor.

You probably have to be British and share my sense of humor. You are most certainly right. And since I'm not British I find this scary as hell. Are you folks really going to do this? Are you people nuts? Good god, please don't let the Democrats in this country see this. They'll adopt it tomorrow! Politically correct my ass! Edited by AZPaul3, : I wanted to.

I think we've found the dark heart of his interpretive reading problem.

I'm just waiting for when they say that shouting "Rah! Rah!" at football games is contrary to Christianity.

Mohler said he objects to "the idea that the body is a vehicle for reaching consciousness with the divine." I guess he's unaware of his faith's long record of mortification of the flesh in pursuit of visions. Or maybe he thinks it's okay to reach the divine through pain, but not through pleasure or even absence of pain, since many people take up yoga to combat chronic pain. Oh those kinky Southern Baptists. Fortunately, and unsurprisingly, their women are low hanging fruit. Of course, he's merely responding to a significant threat. Let everyone start feeling good about their bodies while seeking clarity of mind, and Xianity would wither away. Edited by Omnivorous, : No reason given.

But as usual, they have not read the Bible. Football is NOT the Biblical sanctioned sport.
Jesus said that we should "take up Lacrosse and follow him." Anyone so limited that they can only spell a word one way is severely handicapped!

I am sure there must already be a joke about Yoga positions and Mohler having his head up his own arse... Is there anything that won't cause Baptist leaders to react like idiots? ...or something.
