I would like someone to explain to me how a non living retrovirus is formed in nature to somehow gain entrance into a life form that is complete in a long sequence of its own RNA that ends up in a specific location to provide a new innovation to the life form morphology traits?
Wouldn't this be considered a mechanism for evolution of new traits that did not exist before in the past?
What mechanism is involved in these envelopes of RNA or DNA to form sequences that insert, replace, or damage their host?

Hi Barbara,
Is this a purely informational inquiry, or a topic of debate. If the latter then you need to stake out a position. If the former then I'll transfer this over to Links and Information.
