can you imagine an eternal life how long would it take for you to get bored 1000, 10 000, 100 000 years, and how many years would it take for you to go insane there is only so much you can do. and the way christians describe it you are sitting on a cloud and you play the harp talk about getting bored in days.
and if you are married holy shit do you realy want to listen to your wife for eternaty non stop while she is back seat harping.
and no (sex, drugs, fornication) all the fun gets sucked out of you.

are you keeping track of your sins, every white lie, every time you use the lords name in vain even if you hit yourself on the finger whit a hammer. Do you regret every one of those sins and do not repeat them after you went to confession. If not well your eternal afterlife may involve murder she wrote endless reruns. The only problem would be the picture would go blank every 15 minutes for 20 minutes, and the commercials would last twice as long the screen would work perfectly then.

I can understand not wanting eternal life in torment, but would you really loathe eternal life in peaceful and joyful bliss and plenty of good things to eat and do in a perfect world of kingdoms?
um first of all the second man would enter such a kingdom, he would pave it over to have a grate parking lot. secondly there is only so much one can do before he gets bored. Say you are a muslim who blows himself up and you get 72 virgins how long would they last you a weak or 2 . or if you read the quoran the right way you get 72 grape wines oh joy, oh joy.
Let us take the best case scenario you get anything you want anytime you want it. How long dose it take for you to get bored, how long dose it take for you to run out of ideas on what you want. We are talking about eternity, that is not 100 years or 1000, or 1000 000 years that is forever. After a few thousand years you would be asking god if he can send you to hell so you can change the scenary a bit.

ok then tell me what you would do on day 1 in hevan, then day 2......,year 1000 000 000. Would you run out of stuff to do that would spark interest in you would you see all there is to see do all there is to do over and over again by then. Or would it take 1000 000 000 000 years to do every thing and once you have done everything so many times it sparks no more interest in you what would you do then, would you be bored yet, or alredy insane, or do you need 1000 000 000 times more years to reach boredom, and 1000 000 000 000 times more than that to get to a point where one could call you insane. Guess what the time has not run out yet you have not even scratched the surface of the time you have to spend there for you have eternety.

What if time was no longer measured in that way. It seems to me that it is precisely because of our mortality that we even care about time. We need to get here or there because our time is so limited and we only have so much time available. But what if time is no longer a restraint? Would it even matter? Maybe just like when you get busy doing something you enjoy and all of sudden you look up and say Wow, it’s been four hours! Where did the time go? maybe in the afterlife all of sudden you’ll think Wow, it’s been a billion years! It seemed like just a few minutes.
