There's "A" good album in Sandinista!
if you're prepared to separate the chaff from the wheat. Washington Bullets, Something About England, The Leader, Somebody Got Murdered, Charlie Don't Surf, etc. deserve a place on anybodies turntable, it's just that there's two tracks of drivel separating the good tracks. Pity it was a triple album to begin with....Legend has it that they were fulfilling their record deal commitments by releasing 3 albums in one go.....
London Calling (the double album) epitomised The Clash, as far as I'm concerned.
