Or as calm as one could be on reading "respect for human rights = joy that 9/11 occurred." Thanks for the nomination, although it was one of those posts where I thought of what I really wanted to say after I had submitted it.

I don't know if this has happened before, but I suspect it might be a first for EvC that a new member's very first post is nominated for POTM.The new member is Barbarian, an obvious computer savvy, with solid knowledge of evolution to boot, who, in a very civilized manner, makes mince-meat of the opening post of another new member.Good job, Barbarian, and welcome to EvC.
