Though I'm late to post this, I hope others of you will join me in their own ways to show our collective outrage at being told by Islam what we can and can't doodle in our spare time.
As my personal protest I have drawn a very generic, non-offensive image of a man I dubbed "Mr M" along with a similarly generic, non-offensive comment protesting the notion that someone can tell me what I can or can't draw - and then hidden this in my Facebook profile. Why did I hide it? because I'm in the UK where there are many Muslims, and have at least a half dozen on my friends list. Additionally, it is not my intention to offend, but rather to highlight the extreme offence I take from the notion that I should have my freedom of expression curtailed simply to avoid hurting someone's feelings.
I hope we can all agree... religious and non-religious alike... that we will NOT be scared into surrendering our right to freely express ourselves.
