Dr Adequate writes: Never have previous administrations cow-towed to Israel's enemies and undermined Israel to the extent that this regime has. So, to summarize: the imaginary things that the government hasn't actually done will cause an imaginary god who doesn't actually exist to do imaginary things that won't actually happen. I don't know where you live, Dr Adequate, but are you oblivious to all of the bad things that have befallen our nation weather wise, fires, monetarily, unemployment and relative to be southwest borders, etc? Like it's one after another. Whether you believe it or not, Biblical apprised folk see it as indicative to the prophecies pertaining to our treatment of God's restored messianic nation, Israel, in place for the messianic millennium emerging. No one doubts that you believe such nonsense. It's simply that as usual, you got your facts all wrong. God did not restore the messianic nation of Israel, and in fact the current Nation called Israel has none of the characteristics of the messianic Nation of Israel. Gotta ask, have you ever read the Bible Buz? Unemployment is no where near the levels of the Great Depression, this flod is no where near as damaging as the 1937 flood and shows very clearly that man can handle what your god can bring on. What the hell does "relative to be southwest borders" even mean? Anyone so limited that they can only spell a word one way is severely handicapped!

Whether you know it or not, the Bible is mythology and you are spouting nonsense. Facts don't lie or have an agenda. Facts are just facts

Even if they had the right to make a state, does that give them the right to chase of the Palestinians as they please? Do they have no rights to their former country at all? These are also people, with kids. I'm not against Israel, but the politics I heard in the news seem very much to be '' grey vs grey''. The Israel army hasn't got clean hands by this point, like most armies do to some extent..

but are you oblivious to all of the bad things that have befallen our nation weather wise, fires, monetarily, unemployment and relative to be southwest borders, etc Written in 1935? Or 2011? It would have fit very well then, too, Buz. When you were in diapers, correct? An when Israel wasn't even born. But I am glad that you are the only person out of six billion that knows what this God fella really means.

I know I'm a day early but I wanted to be the first to say:
Happy Charlatan's Day! On this special day we celebrate the happiness of all the charlatans who made out like bandits (literally) from the inate stupidity of christians everywhere. We get to celebrate another one on December 22, 2012, when the "mark" is more secular but just as stupid.

Buzsaw writes: In my 8 years sojourn here at EvC, I've never touted the KJV. I most always use the ASV. All versions have some errors, usually minor and insignificant, according to the manuscript interlinears. The ASV is the nearest equivalent to the Alexandrian Text was derived from the oldest copies. Uh oh. Only the KJV is the word of God. The Alexandrian Text is Satanic.

I don't know where you live, Dr Adequate, but are you oblivious to all of the bad things that have befallen our nation weather wise, fires, monetarily, unemployment and relative to be southwest borders, etc? I noticed these things; but I missed the rains of blood and the giant locusts with human heads and the death of the firstborn and the other phenomena which we customarily associate with God being a huge dick. What we're seeing is the kind of normal, natural events that have been screwing with our fair nation since its founding. I hardly see that this can be blamed either on God or on a black man with a funny name continuing the pro-Israel policies of his WASP predecessors.

Buzsaw writes: Whether you believe it or not, Biblical apprised folk see it as indicative to the prophecies pertaining to our treatment of God's restored messianic nation, Israel, in place for the messianic millennium emerging. There are a number of us who take the Bible very seriously that have a great deal of trouble with your view. Personally I tend to be pro Israel but that does not mean that I am going to agree with their foreign policy all the time, or even much of the time. They are in a very difficult situation, as I agree that their neighbour's policy is that they shouldn't exist in that area at all and would be happy to see all Jews gone from the area by any means necessary. Those that are Biblically apprised understand that Jesus brought a different way of dealing with those who oppose us. He told the Israelites of His day that if they maintained their militancy in dealing with the Romans that within the lives of some of them they would see Jerusalem crushed and the Temple destroyed. (Which of course happened.) This is from Matthew 5 or the "Sermon on the Mount".
quote: I don't see any nation following these rather basic principles. I good example of a case where that actually was followed was in the last century. After WW I the Germans were treated punitively with the "Treaty of Versailles". This certainly played a role in allowing Nazism to come to power. After WW II was over, the west, (primarily the US to their eternal credit), helped rebuild the countries of their former enemies. The result of course is that we now have positive, productive, and friendly relations between countries that were sworn enemies. Israel spends a great deal of time and money on advanced military equipment. Just maybe they could spend that money helping their Arab neighbours to build up their own territories. I agree that this would not solve the problem over night, but as Christians we should believe that in the long term it will. At least according to Jesus it would be the right thing to do. Edited by GDR, : numerous mistakes as I was a bit rushed Everybody is entitled to my opinion.

Buzsaw writes: This is a unique Buzsaw hypothesis which makes more sense than Camping's nonsense. It's not cut in stone, but the prophecies clearly implicate it after careful study, considering cause and effect of the conglomerate of prophecies. ABE: If some would like to do a debate thread on the above, I'm game, so long as it can be in the Coffee House or Freeforall where I am not obliged to satisfy mainline science perrogatives or provide scientific evidence. It's all based on a number of prophecies and on the premise of a global flood. If you don't want any standards of evidence to apply to such a discussion, what would be the point? All that's left would be dueling assertions and opinions, in which either party could pretty much say whatever he wants and not have to back it up at all.
