Re: BS spam site,
I understand the confusion now. You gotta type in the quoted part of the ad, which for my case was dish network. So, for me I had to type in something like "Click for Dish Network now" or something like that. The thing is I already got dish network! Anyway, it looks legit enough. After I registered, there hasn't been any ad so far.
You really don't mind people syphoning off your popularity?
PS - all the ignorance of the site starter makes my head hurts.
Edit.
Here's an example.
quote:
Here is just a few things that i think are wrong with the evolution theory
The shrinking sun limits the earth-sun relationship to fewer
than billions of years. The sun is losing both mass and
diameter. Changing the mass would upset the fine
gravitational balance that keeps the earth at just the right
distance for life to survive
The inch layer of cosmic dust on the moon indicates the
moon has not been accumulating dust for billions of years
The existence of short-period comets indicates the universe
is less than billions of years old
Fossil meteorites are very rare in layers other than the top
layers of the earth. This indicates that the layers were not
exposed for millions of years as is currently being taught in
school textbooks
The moon is receding a fewinches eachyear. Billions of years
ago the moon would have been so close that the tides would
have been much higher, erodin gthe continents quickly
All of these have been addressed, refuted, readdressed, re-refuted a billion times on here.

I don't even use a legit email for sites like these. For that site, I used a@yahoo.com. My pass is 123456789. Feel free to use my account for whatever purpose.

This just in, crazynuts have erased all the topics so far. I wrote a lengthy explanation for him to why his assertions about evolution is long. When I pressed submit, it says the topic doesn't exist. Damn it, it took me a good 30 minutes to write out the post and provided links for the bastard. I went around and saw that all topics where slappi has been contradicting crazynuts claims have been erased.
What a way to start out his forum...
Edit.
All topics have been wiped clean. All posts have been erased. Muaahahahahahaha.

Actually, this would make a lot of sense if he's actually 13. I remember when I was 13 I knew everything there was to know about the world and the universe.

Looks like crazynuts has recruited a fellow creationist (aka himself using another name).

I have a confession to make. I'm actually a closeted transgendered homosexual Afro-American Creationist who's a life-long registered Republican.

May I ask you where on that site you had gotten your quote from? That solar-mass-loss claim would be a very good one to start with. And as for the moondust claim, since I have personally pulled that NASA documument off the library shelf and gazed upon its cover, the very act of which disproves Henry Morris' claim, that would be good for seconds.
Hahaha. I see you missed what happened. The site actually became quite active. Slappie, a very science literate person, began to inform the site founder of all his misconceptions. I began to weigh in as well. Then posts began to disappear. Then threads began to disappear.
Later on, crazynuts, the site founder, claimed that someone else using his account had erased all the threads (ahem *sockpuppet*).
I wish I had saved all the conversations that went on before everything got erased. Showed me just how uninformed the site founder was. He didn't even have the most basic knowledge about science. Very typical of a 13 year old.

Re: BS spam site,
This is one reason why creationists tend to cite outdated material... and even then they don't cite it correctly.
They are the god-fearing side who's got the moral high grounds. We're the baby-eating atheists who worship satan. And yet we value the truth a hell of a lot more than creationists. How ironic...

Re: BS spam site,
I participated a bit before he deleted everything to start over. I actually spent a lot of time writing out details and linking to sources for him. I even painstakingly wrote things in laymen's language to explain basic things of science that he seemed to not understand. And then poof everything was gone. I'm kinda weary to participate again knowing everything could be gone again.

Just passing on that pearl of wisdom.
You don't understand. My posts didn't time out. I already posted them. And so had other people. The guy erased all threads to start over after he realized we were the real thing, not some laymen.

I'm convinced he is 13 years old or so. I'd put the upper limit of his age at 16 or 17.
Edit.
Keep your eyes open for thread deletion. Let's see if history will repeat itself.

Re: Shrinking sun, dust moon
I have a feeling he's having trouble understanding the math.
What dwise1 did was use simple algebra, which this young man probably hasn't even had in school.
Isn't that what creationists like Kent Hovind aimed to do? These crooks used some very big language designed for anybody to understand to preach bullshit. The sad thing is that these people who bought into the Kent Hovind video lectures got the wrong idea that science never goes into anything specific. So, they think that it's good enough to stay in the general sense.
Dwise1 is doing a wonderful job at making this guy look at specific details and see how nonsensical his claims were.
